Clinical Trial Program

Boneca has a clinical trial program for head & neck cancers and malignant brain tumours. The trials are conducted in collaboration with the Department of Oncology, Helsinki University Central Hospital. All trials (listed below) are registered and can be found at www.clinicaltrials.gov(search: BNCT).

A clinical BNCT trial for patients diagnosed with locally recurred head and neck cancer is ongoing. This trial addresses administration of cetuximab, an anti-body directed at the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), in combination with BNCT.
